Director of HIV Health and Prevention Services
40 hours per week


The Director of HIV Health and Prevention Services operates as part of Tapestry’s leadership team and is responsible for the overall program design, operation, monitoring, modification and evaluation of these programs in accordance with standards and policies established by Tapestry and our funders.  The Director coordinates the hiring, training and supervision of program staff, administers and monitors all financial transactions and the program budget, and is responsible for ensuring that all programs under his/her supervision utilize best practices to ensure that services are high-quality, client-oriented and cost effective.


Minimum required qualifications:

  • A college degree is required, preferably a Masters in a relevant field
  • Three years (3) experience in HIV/AIDS field
  • Extensive supervisory skills, program development, budgeting skills


 
Women, Infant, Children (WIC) Family Support Coordinator
20 hours per week
Springfield, MA
 
Great part time opportunity to join our team in Springfield. As the WIC Family Support Coordinator at Tapestry Health, your focus will be on helping WIC participants obtain additional needed health and human services. Examples include understanding and completing required forms and applications for housing, childcare and SNAP (Food Stamps).
 
Minimum required qualifications:
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • 2 year associate degree in social work, public health, counseling, human services or health related field.
  • 2 years experience in working with families.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse cultural groups.
  • Current and valid MA Driver's License

 


 

 

HIV Case Manager
40 hours a week
Springfield, MA
 
Great opportunity to join our team in Springfield. The HIV Case Manager provides client services for individuals living with HIV or AIDS, including assessment, coordination of services and referrals to other community-based organizations.  
 
Minimum required qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree or two years of college required.  Significant job experience may substitute.
  • Bilingual/Bicultural (English/Spanish) capability and experience preferred. Ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to sit at a desk and complete reports, forms and other data collection tools accurately.

 


 

 

Quality Assurance Director
32 hours a week
Florence, MA


Under the direction of the CEO, the Quality Assurance Director oversees and monitors the quality improvement and compliance of all clinical programs and services of Tapestry Health, maintains current knowledge of OSHA, DPH, HIPAA and other regulations to ensure compliance with licensing and clinical protocols, investigates unusual occurrence reports, patient complaints/care issues and other related issues, and tracks, monitors and evaluates all Infection Control issues, as well as compliance with contracted performance measures through the electronic medical record system. This 32-hour per week position will be based out of Tapestry's administrative offices in Florence, with travel to locations in Springfield, Holyoke, Northampton, Amherst, Greenfield, and Pittsfield.


Minimum required qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least three years’ experience and comprehensive knowledge of regulatory, compliance and quality improvement procedures in a healthcare setting
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license


Preferred Experience: 

  • Current nursing license from the Massachusetts Nursing Board of Registration; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited program and experience with direct patient care and clinical experience, women’s health preferred.
  • Experience with implementation and use of electronic health records 


 

 Clinician (NP, CNM, PA)
16 hours per week
Springfield, MA

As a Clinician (NP,CNM,PA) at Tapestry Health, your focus will be on providing a wide array of reproductive and sexual health care to a diverse clientele. Routine annual comprehensive exams, STI screenings for female and male clients, providing birth control methods, as well as educating clients are some of the duties a Clinician is responsible for at Tapestry Health’s family planning clinics. 

 Minimum required qualifications: 

  • Licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Board Certified
  • MCSR

 
A background in women’s health and sexual reproductive health is preferred.

 


  

 Substitute Clinician (NP/PA/CNM) - Western MA

 

We are currently seeking Substitute Clinicians (NP, PA, CNM) to fill in at our various sites throughout Western MA. Locations include: Holyoke, Springfield, Northampton, Greenfield and Pittsfield.  Hours, locations and frequency will vary based on need. No minimum required sub hours per month and the ability to travel to all sites is not necessary.  Travel reimbursement is provided.

 

Minimum required qualifications: NP/PA/CNM License to practice in the state of Massachusetts, board certified, ability to work with diverse clientele and staff, good interpersonal skills, and a team mentality is a must! At least one year of clinical experience and knowledge of women's health care is required.

Compensation: $35.00 per hour

WIC Intern
Springfield, MA


The WIC nutrition intern gives back to the agency under supervised practice by actively learning and providing routine nutrition services, projects and outreach to WIC participants.

Responsibilities: Conduct anthropometric data, perform dietary and nutritional risk assessment, assign food package prescription, provide nutrition and breastfeeding counseling and education, perform data entry, provide referrals to other services, participate in planning, development and evaluation of education materials, group nutrition education sessions, counseling and education strategies, nutrition in-services and policies, assist in quality assurance, presentations and outreach in the community, other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in or graduate of a four-year Bachelor's Degree program in public health, nutrition or nutrition education.
  • Leadership and decision making capabilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Sensitivity to the needs of the participant population
  • Ability to carry out typical administrative functions and support the vision and goals of the agency.
