Data & Training Coordinator
Tapestry Health seeks a dynamic candidate to fill the position of Data & Training Coordinator. This is a full time (40 hours a week) position based out of our La Voz site in Springfield, MA. Tapestry is a community organization that provides public health programs such as family planning and sexual health services; HIV/AIDS testing and counseling, needle exchange, and opioid overdose prevention; and WIC nutrition services.
The Data & Training Coordinator will play a crucial role in working with the management team to coordinate the programs’ data collection, as well as, coordinating and providing training and support to program staff in the harm reduction programs. The Data & Training Coordinator will be responsible for developing detailed reports to assist with grant writing and reporting to funders. This position will insure that screenings and follow up paperwork is correctly submitted to funders and billing. Additional responsibilities include the oversight and maintaining of databases related to harm reduction activities. Occasional participation in outreach activities and community relationship building will be required.

Bilingual Full Time Harm Reduction Counselor
Join our team and make a difference! Tapestry Health is a non-profit organization that provides a range of health services throughout Western Massachusetts. Currently, we have an opening for a full time Bilingual (English/Spanish) Harm Reduction Counselor at our Needle Exchange Program in Holyoke. Individuals in recovery are encouraged to apply. Minimum Required Qualifications: Bilingual English/Spanish. HS graduate or equivalent along with one year of counseling experience. Experience in substance abuse and knowledge of HIV/AIDS, harm reduction principles and sexual health. Ability to be creative and flexible and work independently as well as in a team. Must possess strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to use a non-judgmental approach when working with clients. Ability to carry out typical administrative functions including some working knowledge of the internet, Microsoft Word, and other computer programs. Willingness to be trained in blood draws. Valid MA driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Experience: Experience with harm reduction and needle exchanges. Knowledge of addiction theory, substance abuse treatment modalities and the drug using culture. Experience with outreach and demonstrated skills in community education, public speaking and organizing. Primary Responsibilities: The Harm Reduction Counselor is responsible for working as part of a team to provide outreach and education to injection drug users in regards to HIV prevention. The Harm Reduction Counselor will work as part of a team to develop effective goals and strategies to identify, access, educate and support out-of-treatment injection drug users in reducing their risk for HIV infection or transmission while also ensuring that services to the community are high quality, accessible and non-judgmental. Compensation: $15.25 Per Hour.

Substitute Clinician (NP/PA/CNM) - Western MA
Join our team and make a difference! Tapestry Health is a non-profit organization that provides a range of essential services throughout Western Massachusetts, with a focus on family planning and reproductive health care. We are currently seeking Substitute Clinicians (NP,PA.CNM) to fill in at our various sites throughout Western, Mass. Locations include: Holyoke, Springfield, Northampton, Amherst, Greenfield and Pittsfield. Hours, locations and frequency will vary based on need. No minimum required sub hours per month and the ability to travel to all sites is not necessary. Travel reimbursement is provided.
Minimum Required Qualifications: NP/PA/CNM License to practice in the state of Massachusetts, Board certified, ability to work with diverse clientele and staff, good interpersonal skills and a team mentality is a must! At least one year of clinical experience and knowledge of women's health care is required.
Compensation: $35.00 per hour

Internships & Volunteering
Holyoke Needle Exchange Intern
Learn about harm reduction, overdose prevention, infectious disease prevention, and culture and practices of injection drug users; perform administrative duties (answer phones, greet clients, record data of client encounters); offer supplies and education to clients; help to maintain inventory; represent agency at community outreach events; assist with other tasks as needed. Spanish language skills highly desired. 5-10 hours per week preferred.
